It was a packed house at Follow Baptist Church with four people publicly declaring their faith in Jesus through baptism. What great news indeed!
Eat Grow Garden Initiative – a great support for Aintree’s young people
Eat Grow Garden at Aintree is a social enterprise dedicated to giving young people the opportunity to grow and be supported as they navigate daily life. Jono Ingram encourages us to try and imagine the ways in which our young people can use their gifts by giving them opportunities to really tap into God’s plans for their lives.
Wangaratta Baptist Church reaches out to community with newly built playground
Turning a once unsafe fort into a place of fun and a place to reach out to the community, the newly built playground at Wangaratta Baptist Church is a great and addition to the Wangaratta community, providing another way to reach out and be a light to the community.

Burnside Camp were honoured to host families from bushfire affected East Gippsland over the April school holidays. A joint effort from many local organisations and businesses provided an all expenses paid week of fun!
Celebrating Garry Lock’s 42 years in ministry
We celebrate Garry Lock who has just concluded 42 years of ministry with 27 of them as part of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) in Chaplaincy. His particular ministry with the ADF as chaplain has been of significant impact to those who were at sea, ashore, in conflict zones and those who were experiencing joy and deep sadness.

Sharing Hope – A Community in Action on the Thai-Burma Border
Jor Hope Pe (Jordan) is the founder of Sharing Hope, a nonprofit organisation that embodies community in action. A Karen refugee himself, Jordan’s experience has led him to creating the dynamic, relational and grassroots NGO, which represents a decade of partnership with Karen refugees in Victoria and their Australian neighbours, as they work in community-led aid and reconstruction projects in refugee camps, IDP camps, schools and villages in Thailand and Karen State, Burma.
