Whitley College is happy to announce that Rev Professor René Erwich has been reappointed as Principal for a second term by the Baptist Union of Victoria. In the last three and a half years René has focussed on building relationships with key stakeholders, led the College through a transitional phase and initiated a new strategic plan aimed at deepening connections with churches and communities, profiling the strong educational and research culture and preparing innovative approaches to theological learning and formation.

René says “Whitley College is known for its relevant, accessible and formative contributions to leaders, enabling them to bring their gifts that help the world around them to flourish.”  His vision for the future of Whitley is “to continue the best of Whitley’s approach to theological education in close connection with today’s challenges”.
