Did you know that within the Baptist Union of Victoria, 56 (16%) of our church congregations originate from different ethnic groups within Myanmar. Throughout 2023, the BUV has a focus on justice for Myanmar with a campaign of awareness, prayer, advocacy and fundraising. We are so grateful to have some of our wonderful Chin, Karen and Kachin church leaders representing and advocating for support of their families and communities in their home country. Hearing their stories of persecution and terror from Myanmar is truly humbling and challenging.
