On Tuesday, 18 May at Morling College, Rev Angela Garton was inducted as the new national Chair of the Australian Baptist Ministries, a multi-cultural and multi-generational movement of people serving communities in metropolitan, regional, coastal, rural and remote Australia through a network of almost 1000 churches.

Rev Angela Garton is a gifted spiritual leader with a true heart of for the Lord. In 2011, Angela was appointed pastor of Hampton Baptist Church and has served in the church for many years as a volunteer before taking on the paid pastor role as part of her calling to ministry and ordination with the BUV. Since then, Rev Angela has continued to faithfully serve both in her church, in her local community and the greater Baptist community of churches.

We could not be more excited for Rev Angela as she takes on this new role at the Australian Baptist Ministries! Let’s lift her up in prayer as she enters in this new chapter of God’s calling in her life.
