    We celebrate and honour Rev Graham Paulson, the first Indigenous minister to be ordained by the Baptist Church in 1968! Rev Graham continues to be a pillar of strength, knowledge and resilience to the Baptist and Aboriginal Communities and we want to acknowledge and celebrate his incredible and life-changing contributions.

    The small Slovakian congregation from Kingsville Baptist were offered the opportunity to host their services at Newport Baptist Church and the transition was seamless! A great result for the amazing little group!

    A celebration of faith, music and art in a joint Sunday service with the Koondrook Baptist Church and the Barham Anglican Church communities of faith.

  • Aintree shows support and solidarity for India

    Members of the Aintree faith community went in the dark of night to create a message of support for India as they face the COVID crisis. “With much of our neighbourhood from the sub-continent (around 60%), and many people sharing stories of having family members directly affected by COVID, we wanted to bring the community together in prayer and support of our neighbours.”

    The ABC Community Arts Hub is a collection of spaces hosted by Armadale Baptist Church for community groups (especially performing arts groups) to meet and collaborate, rehearse, learn and perform together, forging community connections.   • Multicultural Pastors Retreat – a great celebration of the diversity of God’s people!

    Culturally diverse pastors from all over Victoria gathered together in Camp Wilkin in Anglesea for the BUV’s Multicultural Pastors Retreat where they connected and engaged in, prayer, worship, fellowship, food and of course, lots of laughs!

    Thanks again for a Magnificent May Mission Month in 2021!
    For over 100 years, May has been the month of special mission focus for our Australian Baptist Churches. The heart of this initiative is still core to our mission today – partnering with the vital, passionate and dedicated people who serve across the world, sharing the Good News with people in ways that make sense to them in their culture, local community and language.

    We want to submit a heartfelt thank-you to all our Victorian churches for another month-long celebration and generous support of God’s mission across cultures, across the world.
