This Easter devotion series is based on the theme that Because of Jesus, His death on the cross and His resurrection at Easter,  we can rejoice in the good news that 

• Hope is restored – death has no sting, the grave has no victory;
• Peace is possible – we can leave our anxieties at the foot of the cross;
• Destiny is ours – we can live fulfilled lives on earth with the hope and promise of eternal life and, 
• We can move beyond sin and guilt into transformed relationships with God and others.

But this wonderfully good news is not just for ourselves. The bible makes it clear that being and sharing the good news is to be our mission in life.  Because of Jesus, we can be and share the good news to others – we can be the light to a broken world, a city on a hill, sharing Jesus’ love with those around us. 

Feel free to use this 4 part Easter devotion in many way you choose – as sermon starters, small group guides or simply individual or congregation devotions.  Each part has been written by a member of the BUV Support Hub leadership team to support and encourage you.
